The Opportunity
Large consulting practice in need of an experienced group medical pricing actuary to manage client projects and relationships to a diverse and expanding client base. Consultants spend significant time with clients accurately diagnosing a client's problem and building client relationship. Consultants develop project proposals, refine the strategy of a project, outline a project plan and present the results to the client. Consultants provide leadership for project teams. Eventually, Consultants work toward developing their own client base and securing new client business and leads.

Requirements
- FSA
- Require at least eight years of health actuarial experience at a consulting firm or health insurance company
- Technical proficiency in all aspects of actuarial practice with an emphasis in pricing and product development
- Experience in prioritizing and completing multiple projects and tasks
- Strong communication skills, including oral presentations and written reports
- Staff management and mentoring
- Project management
- History of relationship building and client / management interaction
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and database applications
- High degree of self motivation
