The Opportunity

Experienced health care actuary needed with 10 years relevant healthcare experience to manage projects and relationships to a diverse and expanding client base.

 

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply actuarial models to diverse client situations
• Assist in training and management of staff
• Manage client projects and relationships
• Financial management of client relationship
• Assist in developing new business

Requirements

• FSA
• Ten years healthcare experience
• Technical proficiency in all aspects of health care actuarial practice including pricing, reserving, and data reporting
• Experience in prioritizing and completing multiple projects and tasks
• Strong communication skills including oral presentations and written reports
• Knowledge of and experience with all aspects of the health care market place
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and database applications
• High degree of self motivation
