Health Actuary Search, Inc. (HAS) specializes in matching individual actuarial Candidates with relevant medical health actuarial career opportunities.  That's all we do.

Now in our tenth year of recruiting excellence, we are "sticking to the knitting" offering a more relevant and mutually beneficial service to all parties.  

At the heart of HAS is Leslie Macomber, Recruiter and President.  Leslie holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a BA in Behavioral Science from the University of Chicago.  Leslie began her professional career in the early 1990s earning the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation while working as a Registered Representative with The Equitable in San Francisco.  During this period, Leslie was licensed and trained to sell health, life, disability, annuities and mutual funds, and she became Series 7 qualified. She went on to be an investment representative with Wells Fargo and later, represented long term care products with GE Capital.

Leslie began her health actuarial recruiting career in 2001 and started Health Actuary Search in 2003.  She is known for her precision and passion as a Recruiter.

Leslie lives with her husband and two children in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
